Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar
Arrive in Srinagar and transfer to your houseboat or hotel. Enjoy a peaceful one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake, taking in the floating gardens and calm waters. Later, visit the local crafts market to explore unique Papier-mâché and Walnut Wood handicrafts. Spend the night at your houseboat or hotel.
Day 2: Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar
After breakfast, begin a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, the stunning “Meadow of Gold” located at an altitude of 9000 ft. Admire the surrounding snow-clad mountains and the beautiful Sindh River. You may choose to visit Thajiwas Glacier with an optional pony ride. Return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Srinagar – Pahalgam
Today, transfer to Pahalgam, known as the “Valley of Shepherds.” Upon arriving, check in at your hotel and enjoy the serene atmosphere along the River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for scenic landscapes and trekking routes and also serves as the base camp for the Amarnath Pilgrimage. Stay overnight in Pahalgam.
Day 4: Pahalgam (Leisure Day)
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely day exploring Pahalgam at your own pace. You may visit nearby spots such as Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, or Chandanwari if you prefer. Spend the night at your hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 5: Pahalgam – Gulmarg
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, the beautiful “Meadow of Flowers.” Located at an altitude of 8700 ft, Gulmarg is famous for its ski slopes and boasts the world’s highest 18-hole golf course. You can enjoy a scenic Gondola ride to Kongdori or Apharwat for breathtaking views. Stay overnight in Gulmarg.
Day 6: Gulmarg (Leisure Day)
Spend this day exploring Gulmarg independently. Whether you choose to walk through its lush meadows, take part in adventure activities, or simply relax amidst nature, the day is yours to enjoy. Overnight stay in Gulmarg.
Day 7: Gulmarg – Srinagar (Mughal Gardens Tour)
Transfer back to Srinagar. Upon arrival, visit the famous Mughal Gardens—Nishat Garden, also known as the Garden of Pleasure, and Shalimar Garden, the Abode of Love. Enjoy a scenic drive along Boulevard Road. Later, visit a local Handicrafts Emporium to view exquisite silken carpets, shawls, and jewelry ornaments. Conclude your day with a visit to the historic Shankaracharya Temple. Stay overnight at your houseboat or hotel.
Day 8: Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, check out and proceed to the Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, carrying wonderful memories of Kashmir with you.
